Yarraville VFA 1961 - 1976
Yarraville beat Williamstown in the 1961 First Division Grand Final. The players still meet every two years to celebrate their greatest win. John Clegg won the Liston Trophy in 1963. Fred Cook won the 1970 Liston Trophy. Bill Gunn coached Yarraville in the 1960s and was Secretary in the 1970s. South Melbourne full back John Heriot coached the Eagles for 5 years. Ron Brown (1961 Premiers) kept playing into the 1970s. Nino Quarantotto was a champion for many seasons.
